Annual Giving Appeal Campaign

My Dearest Regent Sisters,

When you hear “Alumnae Memorial Week,” what do you remember? Do you think about the competitive nature of our long-standing class penny wars, or do you reminisce about you and your classmates dancing in the gym or amphitheater during a beloved DJ Pizza Lunch? Maybe you fondly recall quiet moments in the prayer room, while during this week, you took communion with your Regent sisters honoring the Lenten season. These moments of sweet fellowship, whether big or small, bond us in the sisterhood that spans generations.

Although these special moments have been put on pause, our unwavering faith, rooted in the Benedictine hallmarks, provides the foundation our Regent community needs to stay strong in the face of adversity-- but we cannot do it alone. Your generous offerings continue to not only foster these once-in-a-lifetime experiences, but all funds raised directly impact our school’s area of greatest need, from academic scholarships to facility maintenance and daily operations to new health and safety protocols required to reopen our doors.

Last year, we reinstated our Annual Giving Appeal Campaign in an effort to firmly establish the living legacy of a Regent. To those who have embodied the light, to those who have discovered the truth, to those who have sought out peace...YOU are St. Lucy’s. Although the timing was less than ideal and paralleled the start of this pandemic, our esteemed alumnae, cherished current families, and valued community friends came together in partnership to answer St. Lucy’s call in our greatest hour of need. You are helping to provide our institution financial sustainability-- for that, we could not be more grateful. As St. Lucy’s continues fulfilling its mission to shape spiritual, educated, integrated, and collaborative young women, we hope to build an even greater understanding of what it means to be a global member of our society as we wrestle with these significant and unforeseen challenges that have so impacted our world, as of late.

As the pandemic continues to plague every corner of our lives, we are aware that our need is more dire than ever, and we thank you in advance for your generosity and great sacrifice, in the name of our St. Lucy’s community. And once again with conviction of our mission and love in our hearts, we kindly ask you to consider donating a tax-deductible gift of $100, $250, $500, $1,000, or more today. Please remember there is no gift too small, however, if you are able and with thoughtful consideration, you may be inclined to extend your offering as a recurring gift which would bestow an even greater impact. Either way, your contribution makes a world of difference and ensures that our Regents get to experience “Alumnae Memorial Week” in all of its glory, for many years to come.

With heartfelt gratitude,
