We will miss Tommy Lasorda!

We are so sad to hear about the passing of Dodger great, Tommy Lasorda. He visited St. Lucy’s in the Fall of 1994 and spoke to the student body about God and his role in their lives. Tommy visited St. Lucy’s a second time and spoke at our St. Lucy's graduation in 1997. Tommy Lasorda had a great impact on many and will be truly missed.
BASH Parent Participation Featured Photo

BASH Parent Participation

The BASH committee is up and running with an enthusiastic duo leading this annual event. Thanks to Frank and Patty Delgadillo who gave a dynamic presentation at the Parent Club Meeting last week. Their spirit is very contagious, as Principal Judy Hartranft mentioned in her Sunday call and email sent to our St. Lucy's family. With this group planning BASH, the event will be fun and lively. If you would like to join this great group, send an email to Advancement@stlucys.com or sign up on Track it Forward. Also, the Amazon Wedding Gift Registry is open and can be a convenient way to fulfill your minimum family BASH commitment of $150 or more. BASH raffle tickets and BASH booklets, which include information about sponsorship opportunities, will be mailed out to families soon.

St. Lucy Prayer O, St. Lucy, preserve the light of my eyes so that I may see the beauties of creation,  the glows of the sun, the color of the flowers and the smile of children. Preserve also the eyes of  my soul, the faith, through which I can know my God, understand His teachings, recognize His love for me and never miss the road  that leads me to where you,  St. Lucy, can be found in  the company of the angels  and saints.
