Welcome from Admissions
Dear Future Regent Families,
Welcome to St. Lucy’s! As an alumna and a member of the St. Lucy’s community today, it is especially meaningful for me to welcome you as you begin exploring high school for your daughter. I remember what it felt like to be a prospective student and family, and I know there is a lot to consider as you begin this exciting journey.
For more than 60 years, St. Lucy’s has been a place where young women are encouraged to discover who they are, grow in their faith, develop their talents, and build friendships and memories that stay with them long after graduation. Our Benedictine Catholic tradition and our motto, Lux, Veritas, Pax—Light, Truth, Peace—continue to shape the experience of our students and the community we share.
One of the things I have always appreciated about St. Lucy’s is that it is more than a school. It is a community that welcomes you in, gets to know you, and becomes a part of your story. As you explore your options, I hope you will take some time to experience that community for yourself.
We warmly invite girls in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade to join us for a Regent Shadow Day. It is a wonderful opportunity to spend a day on campus, meet our students, experience our classrooms, and simply get a feel for what it is like to be a Regent. We also welcome families to schedule a private campus tour if you would prefer a more personal opportunity to visit, ask questions, and explore our campus together.
Whether you are just beginning to learn about St. Lucy’s or already feel a connection to our school, we are happy to have you here. Please know that our Admissions and Outreach team is always available to answer questions and help make this process feel comfortable and welcoming for your family.
I hope to have the opportunity to meet you and, perhaps, welcome your daughter to St. Lucy’s as a future Regent.
Sincerely,
Danica Ceballos Lizama '10
