St. Lucy's Priory High School Musical celebrates its 27th year! Bravo Regents!

As many cherished alumnae may recall, traditionally, Musical is an after-school arts program that any Regent student may audition for and be a part of. Everyone gets a role and is cast based on previous experience coming into the show, with a goal of individual growth in the areas of singing and dancing. Professionals from the Entertainment Industry produce and direct the program. The students get training in voice and dance, based on the roles cast for each particular show.

Historically, auditions are held in November and the program ends with a 3-day spring season performance in our glorious Outdoor Amphitheater, also known as the heart of St. Lucy's. This venue offers a "Hollywood Bowl Style" experience with the audience cozied up on blankets with their picnic dinners, enjoying the show. Due to COVID-19, our 2020 Musical, "Broadway Bound," was canceled in March, halfway through the program. This year, in compliance with current health and safety guidelines, we offered auditions in February and orchestrated a quick 7-week rehearsal process in preparation for our Mini-Musical Movie filming weekends. We chose half of the singing and dance numbers from last year's show and decided to do an in-person Movie Premiere viewing, not to be missed.

We invite you to join us in our Outdoor Amphitheater Movie Premiere of "Bringing Back Broadway" on May 14 & 15 where curtains rise at 8:00 p.m. Gates will open at 7:15 p.m.

By reservation only, so create a pod of alumnae sisters, family and friends and join us in the amphitheater to support this year's cast!
