BASH 2025 - Alumnae Video Testimonial! BASH 2025 - Our Journey - Alumnae Testimonials Show Transcript I think what's the most important to me about St Lucy's is how many friends I still have in my life today um you know I am just incredibly blessed that I can say I have women in my life that have been there for 40 years and that's pretty remarkable I think what's really mattered and really helped to kind of shape me up was more to the fact that it was an all girls school um you early on you kind of build this like really wonderful little community and everything amongst your peers without sort of the pressure and um hardships that kind of go along with confidence competition and looks and um how am I going to do myself up today nobody cared when you're when you were at St Lucie is that like you did well if you brushed your teeth that morning which is a little bit of an exaggeration of course but it's just sort of to illustrate that you just the pressure being eliminated of like the other hardships that teenagers face I think was the thing that was the most meaningful to me when you move away from home it's it's easy to kind of forget what was special right you've moved on you've moved on to new newer things bigger things whatever it may be but you can't forget where you started and the foundation and I think when you step back on this campus you'll feel that you'll remember it the memories will come flooding back and it's just again it's just such a special feeling and and I think it will um remind those women why they love St Lucie so I just recommend that they all come back come home and and you'll feel it when you step on campus the runs through our blood we're a music family so the dances were like we look forward to them every year I don't think I missed 1 father daughter dance you know Sadie Hawkins we didn't miss any of them um so I loved that I also have to say a special special memory is Kyros huge actually looking back father daughter is more special now because we have lost our dad so and neither 1 of us had him walk us down the aisle my older sister was lucky enough but us too but so looking back we actually got a nice little photo with that we we we all went to father daughter yeah that was good I do believe uh faith has played an integral role in my adult life uh my husband and I have both uh were married in the church uh raised our children in the church they've had all their sacraments and um it's just it's at the core of our family life as well I'm very proud of her so of course I walk through the Halls um but just nothing but Mom Pride right so it's exciting to be here and the fact that we're mother daughter but we're also sisters uh we're Regent sisters just there's something that you know no other will understand in our family you know there's no mother daughter duo in our family I broke the mold my mom went to Pomona Catholic so for my daughter and I to the um Alum of the same school is something special I would invite alumni to remember to pay homage to pay honor to the roots hey respect um and give back to the place that was so foundational for their growth the Alumni Association is important because it's about unifying the women of the school that have graduated and moved on I think like a it's important for women to be able to tell their story full circle and I I think the Alumni Association gives each individual woman the opportunity to make that full circle and come back and contribute um I think we are a Christian and and Catholic school and service is so important and I think to be service-minded is a lifelong journey and I think it's something that we should all take to heart and want to give back Print
