It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Sister Helen Dziuk, O.S.B., a beloved member of the St. Lucy’s community whose dedication, leadership, and service helped shape generations of Regents.
Sister Helen joined the St. Lucy’s faculty in 1974 as a mathematics and religion teacher and went on to serve as Curriculum Coordinator and Vice Principal for many years. Deeply devoted to the education of young women and the Benedictine mission, she gave more than fifty years of faithful service to St. Lucy’s.
Through her wisdom, compassion, and unwavering faith, Sister Helen guided countless students and helped shape the traditions and values that continue to define our school. She will also be remembered for her enthusiastic support of Regent athletics and the encouragement she offered both in and out of the classroom.
As we mourn this tremendous loss, we also give thanks for Sister Helen’s life and the immeasurable impact she had on our community. Her legacy will live on through the generations of students, faculty, staff, and alumnae whose lives she touched.
Please keep the Benedictine Sisters and all who knew and loved Sister Helen in your prayers. Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. Amen.
