In Loving Memory of Valerie Daudel Buchannon class of 1992

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved alumna and friend, Valerie Daudel Buchannon (’92), who entered into eternal rest on February 18, 2026.

Valerie was a true "Regent" in spirit and deed. Whether she was leading a classroom, coaching on the trails, or serving in school leadership, she did everything with a heart for Christ. Her legacy is deep within the Tri-School community, having served St. Lucy’s Priory High School faithfully from 2013–2021 as a teacher and Vice Principal, and most recently bringing her gift of faith to Pomona Catholic as Campus Minister and Vice Principal.

Valerie’s passion for her family, her students, and the sport of cross country was a testament to a life lived fully for others. We ask for your prayers for her husband, Shane, and her three children, Lane, Cody, and Emily, during this difficult time.

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her.
