The St. Lucy's community was absolutely delighted to welcome our newest families to the annual Morning Mingle on Wednesday, August 13th. The event was a resounding success, and we were so grateful to see such a wonderful turnout of new parents and students ready to embark on their Regent journey.
While our incoming Regents began their exciting orientation, getting to know their new campus and fellow classmates, their parents had a unique opportunity to connect. The energy and excitement were palpable as the students embraced their first official day as part of the St. Lucy's sisterhood, learning the ropes and making new friends.
Meanwhile, the Morning Mingle provided a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for parents to forge new connections, thanks in large part to the St. Lucy's Family Association (SLFA) who graciously hosted the beautiful decor and refreshments. Over these light refreshments, they had the chance to meet and chat with key members of our school's leadership, including faculty, staff, and members of the Board of Trustees. Adding to the morning's charm, an alumna was in attendance, sharing her entrepreneurial spirit by selling delicious cookies, a wonderful touch that highlighted the enduring bonds of our St. Lucy's community. These casual conversations are invaluable, helping to build the strong partnership between home and school that is a hallmark of the St. Lucy's experience.
This event serves as a wonderful start to what we know will be a transformative school year. We are so excited for the journey ahead and look forward to seeing our new families at many more community events to come. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this Morning Mingle a resounding success!
