Parents’ Resource

Thank you to all who helped put on and participated in this years Annual Boutique. We appreciate all of the time and dedication given by the parents of our students. We feel this past Boutique was a great success and hope to see you again at next year's or maybe try our second semester fund raiser, BASH.

Boutique Requirements

We need your help and support to procure or help make items that could be sold for at least $40.00 or donate $40.00. Also contribute at least one baked or dessert item to the Gourmet Shoppe OR a plant to the Plant Shoppe. All Boutique item(s) are due on or before Friday, October 22, 2010. One bonus hour will be given if items are turned in on or before the deadline. The pricing committee requests that all items have a suggested selling price or the cost of materials. Do not turn in your item on Boutique Day.

Donation Suggestions

Holiday Home: Various holiday themed items can be donated to be sold in the Holiday Home shoppe. Please remember that the items should have a minimum value of $40.00 and can be specially crafted or purchased.

Basket Shoppe: Sells a variety of gift baskets. New items are needed to create gift baskets that appeal to all ages and interests. You may have NEW items on hand that are not the right color, flavor, scent or style that you would be willing to share. Other items needed for this shop are unusual containers, baskets, colanders, ceramic bowls, flowerpots, jars of jams or jellies, decorative soaps, gourmet foods, coffees, teas, and chocolates. Please check expiration dates on food items.

Green Thumb Shoppe: This shoppe offers a variety of indoor and outdoor plants plus other items for garden décor including: garden flags, stepping stones, pots, baskets, lanterns, and silk arrangements. During the week of November 2nd you may deliver green plants, blooming plants and garden accessories to the Development Office.

Children’s Shoppe: Offers small gifts for Mom, Dads, Grandparents, Teachers, and other family members. You can donate items that children would like to buy as gifts i.e. flashlights, tools, pens, maps, playing cards, soaps, candles, lotions, in sample sizes. All items in this shoppe are $5 or less.

Gourmet Shoppe: Each family is ENCOURAGED to make their favorite homemade treats for our GOURMET SHOPPE which features a variety of goodies. All festive treats are welcomed: fruit cakes, cakes, cookies, toffee, breads, cupcakes, homemade jams and jellies. Items that are big sellers are different and unique like “Gourmet Bean Soup,” “Christmas Cookie Mixes,” and specialty candies.

This is what you need to do:
1. Package your baked goods in a creative manner so they will sell quickly. Wrap it in clear (not colored) cellophane and add a bow. Be sure to label your item (chocolate cake, strawberry jam, pumpkin bread).
2. Bring your donation to school on Friday November 5 from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm or on Saturday, November 6 from 8:00 am to 10:00 am, to the second level kitchen near the little theater.
3. Baked goods will also be accepted on November 7 although this is highly discouraged!

North Pole Food Court: Donation of edibles to our food booths are welcomed - contact booth chairpersons or Development Office.

If you have a question about your donation, please call the Development Office.
